Joint Stock Company Foreign Economic Association Tyazhpromexport is one of the largest machine-building associations specializing in the export and import of equipment and machinery for ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, as well as the mining industry.

Over the 65-year period of its activity, JSC “VO “Tyazhpromexport” has cooperated with hundreds of public and private companies from dozens of countries in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America, assisting in the construction, reconstruction and operation of 91 facilities abroad, including such largest , like ironworks in Bokaro, Bhilai, Durgapur and Visakhapatnam in India; at Helwan in Egypt; nickel plants in Cuba; a number of metallurgical plants in China; in Turkey, etc.

JSC “VO “Tyazhpromexport” provides services on the terms of technical assistance, as well as on a turnkey basis.

At the facilities being constructed by JSC VO Tyazhpromexport, the latest forms and methods of installation and commissioning work are used, the latest technological developments are introduced, licenses and know-how are transferred.

When fulfilling orders, the delivery of high-performance equipment is ensured and its high performance is guaranteed.

At the request of the Customer, the equipment can be manufactured in a special design, which guarantees its successful operation in any climatic conditions.

An important area of activity of JSC “VO “Tyazhpromexport” is the provision of services in the operation of the constructed enterprises. First of all, this is the introduction of new technologies, the supply of spare parts and replacement equipment, the provision of the necessary technical documentation, etc., based on the wishes of the Customer.

Ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy enterprises, mining and processing complexes, which were built and put into operation with the participation of JSC “VO “Tyazhpromexport”, operate in various parts of the globe.

Metallurgical enterprises built abroad with the assistance of JSC “VO “Tyazhpromexport” annually produce 53 million tons of steel and 83 million tons of rolled products. With the assistance of JSC VO Tyazhpromexport, flagships of Indian metallurgy, plants in Bhilai, Bokaro, Vizakhapatnam were built, a deep reconstruction and modernization of plants in Rourkel and Durgapur was carried out. Metallurgical plants have been built in Helwan (ARE), Pakistan, Algeria, Turkey, China, Nigeria, Slovakia and a number of other Eastern European countries.

Over the years of its activity, JSC “VO “Tyazhpromexport” has sent over 200 thousand qualified Russian specialists of various professions abroad, who participated in the construction and operation of more than 60 facilities abroad. Hundreds of thousands of national engineers and workers were trained and improved their skills both at Russian enterprises and educational institutions, and directly at cooperation sites with the help of Russian specialists.

JSC “VO “Tyazhproexport” also worked fruitfully in the field of non-ferrous metallurgy. Factories were built in Nag Hamadi (ARE), Turkey, Yugoslavia, China, and India. During the construction of factories for the production of aluminum, work was carried out in parallel with the construction of mining bases.

In 2015, JSC VO Tyazhpromexport successfully completed two EPC projects in India: the construction of a sinter plant in Vizakhapatnam and the modernization of a sinter plant in Bokaro.

In 2018, on the basis of an agreement with the Rostec State Corporation, JSC VO Tyazhpromexport completed the functions of a technical customer during the construction of the Corporation’s Joint Demonstration Center on the territory of the Patriot All-Union Demonstration Center of the RF Armed Forces.

At present, JSC “VO “Tyazhpromexpor” is studying the possibility of resuming the construction of a plant for the production of pig iron using the innovative technology “Romelt” at the site in Pang Pet, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

Taking into account the recent experience gained in the construction of complex metallurgical facilities, JSC “VO “Tyazhpromexport” is currently a team of highly qualified specialists who are able to quickly and efficiently solve the tasks of executing EPC, EPCM, EPCS projects in the field of mining and metallurgical industry.
