From December 4 to 6, 2022, the 3rd meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Myanmar Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation was held in Naypyidaw (the capital of Myanmar), chaired by the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov from the Russian side and the Minister of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Kan Zo from the Myanmar side.
Within the framework of this commission, the management of JSC “VO” Tyazhpromexport ” held negotiations with the ministers of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar regarding plans to resume the construction of a pig iron plant in Pang Pet.
